Royals and Astros have come to terms on a big deal - I'm concentrating value on one big name while he gets a bunch of nice pieces.
Astros to receive:
Paul Goldschmidt ARI 1B 2017: 5.0M PP5
Francisco Cervelli PIT C 2017: .60M
5.6M cap moving
Royals to receive:
Ian Desmond COL 1B/OF 17: 5M, 18: 6M, 19: 6M CO, 20: 6M CO
Ryon Healy 3B/1B OAK 17: .25M PP1
Matt Bush CL TEX 17: .2M Minors deal
Christian Bergman SP SEA 17: .2M Minors deal
Zach Davies SP MIL 17: .25M PP1
Julian Merryweather SP CLE 17: .2M minors deal
6.1M cap moving
Astros stand at 30MLB deals but with 4 on the DL so 26 - result will be 29 MLB deals and 24 active as Cervelli is on the DL
Astros cap moves from .03M up to a glorious .53M
Thanks and GL with these guys. Hate to give up Healy Bush Desmond and Davies but I can make due with strong depth at 3B, RP and SP. OF will be quite thin so I'll be looking to trade for an OF by the deadline.
