Dodgers trade - Clayton Kershaw (LAD)- 16: 32M 17-18: 33M 19: 32M 20: 33M (Franchised 2014)
Cubs trade - David Wright 3B NYM 2016: 20M, 2017:20M, 2018:20M, 2019:15M, 2020:12M Yoenis Cespedes OF/DET 2016: 7M Lance McCullers 2016: .25M PP1, 2017: .5M PP2, 2018:.75M PP3, 2019:2.5M PP4 CO, 19:5M PP5 CO
Cap - Dodgers are saving 4.75M
The logic in the Dodgers eyes for this trade is I have to many high priced players on my roster - and there isn't very much cap space, so to keep Kershaw would hurt me in to many other positions, and there are several young pitchers on my roster - So giving up Kershaw who probably is the top fantasy pitcher for McCuller, Cespedes, and Wright was a move i had to make - McCullers I love his upside and his contract so getting a young potential stud pitcher back in return - Cespedes only having 1 year left but should still be a boost to my offense - and then Wright he is more in the trade to even out salaries even though he might be an upgrade for me at 3rd I am not sure
Thank You Cubs and Good Luck

CUBS accept, I have been looking for a SP1 and now I have one. Thank you for the trade.
Cap space 19.25 before 15.10 after trade

Jamie - No justification needed for me. Seems like an obvious win - win.

About as clean of a trade as it could've been. win-win from my perspective too!
