The Orioles / Dodgers trade has been protested. Each team except Orioles and Dodgers get a vote. Vote yes to approve trade or vote no to veto trade. Poll closes at 8 PM ET Wednesday.

This shit has got to stop. We need to remove trade protests being initiated by anyone other than admins, and only allowable for suspected collusion

I don’t know, if protesting should be removed but it should definitely be made public WHO is initiating the protest and post their reasons why a protest is being made. It’s only fair to the teams who’s trade is being protested.

Yeah, or something like that. Anonymous protests make people a lot more likely to make vindictive/petty protests. Regardless, there needs to be a much more restrictive protest protocol. This is getting insane

Another league I am in posts the protest, then each individual owner has to post a reply with whether they think it should pass or not. If they vote for it to be vetoed, they have to post why.

Anyone who is voting to veto it, feel free to message me privately and let me know what your issue is with it. I will not hold it against anyone and I won’t throw your name out on the message board or anything. I’m just genuinely curious as to what the issue is with this trade. I’ve heard from several people who don’t think it’s a bad trade, and even some who think it’s a fringe trade at worst. But I would like to hear from someone who thinks it’s such a bad trade that it needs to be vetoed.

we also only got one veto comment on the previous trade and i think the punchline was that rockies preys on owners like rick every year
