He franchised Arenado last year and he signed 8 year deal in feb. so Arenado should have 19 26$ 20-24 35m 25 32m 26 27m unless we I’m missing something

needs to be resolved ASAP. Seems like the contract that stood at our tag deadline date should prevail (1yr $26M). As of our tag deadline date 2/21/2019, Arenado had not yet signed his extension (announced 2/26). He had agreed to a one year deal of $26M, avoiding arbitration in his final arb year. "Arenado, who was scheduled to become a free agent after the current season, was in line to make $26 million for a contract he signed just before spring training to avoid salary arbitration. The new deal eliminates this year’s contract. Arenado’s will now make an average annual salary of $32.5 million — a new record for a position player — topping Miguel Cabrera’s $31 million per year." - www.denverpost.com/2019/02/26/nolan-arenado-colorado-rockies-contract/

IIRC, that has only applied when a player doesn't have an executed agreement at the time we have to tag. not when a player later executes a replacement / extension.

Ron accepted Arenado's Franchise contract when it was 1YR/26M. In real life MLB the 1YR Contract was voided, however, Ron already posted tags and accepted the original contract. Therefore, Arenado is only under contract for 2019 at 26M.
