2022 Power Rankings (4/14/22)

2022 Season Unofficial Power Rankings:

Power rankings were produced based on fantrax projections, with optimized active lineups + 2 best bench bats, outlier terrible pitching projections removed, and max of 6 RPs.  The calculation is based upon a rotisserie style scoring system (20 points for best score in category etc.)

Overall rankings below are broken to tiers for big drops between and include the hit side and pitching side rank to the side.

This is strictly for 2022, as of 4/14/22

Tier 1:
Houston Astros - #3H / #1 P
Colorado Rockies - #1 H / #3 P
New York Mets - #3 H / #2 P

Tier 2: 
San Diego Padres - #2 H / #7 P
Oakland Athletics - #6 H / #5 P
Boston Red Sox - #10 H / #6 P

Tier 3:
Chicago Cubs - #8 H / #8 P (Up from last pre-season 2021)
Texas Rangers - #5 H / #15 P
Minnesota Twins - #9 H / #13 P
Toronto Blue Jays - #7 H / #16 P (down from 3rd pre-season 2021)

Tier 4:
Chicago White Sox  #13 H / #11 P
New York Yankees - #14H / #9 P
Los Angeles Dodgers - #15 H / #9 P
Baltimore Orioles - #20 H / #4 P
Cincinnati Reds - #11 H / #17 P
Atlanta Braves - #16 H / #12 P
Kansas City Royals - #12 H / #18 P

Tier 5:
Philadelphia Phillies - #18 H / #14 P
Washington Nationals - #17 H / #19 P
Los Angeles Angels - #18 H /#20 P
