Pre-FA 2024 Power Rankings

Skipped a year, here they are, your favorite power rankings of the year. A brief:

• I exported everyone's roster from fantrax to csv, set up formulas to calculate, moved all sheets to one workbook, 
• Selected your best active lineup + 1 best bench bat, 
• Scoring is like rotisserie - sum the projections from fantrax and then rank order the teams full season projections
• Deleted any terrible pitching projections (line removed) assuming you would not use so and so with a 1.55WHIP
• trimmed back to 6 best RPs if you have more.  
• Removed RFA tagged players as this round is meant to be pre-FA / RFA. I'll plan to do another after FA and just before the season starts. Or just after. 
• Anyone on your fantrax roster was eligible for inclusion, less expired guys. Me and Phillies had the most expired.
• A couple outliers - a contender is missing a viable 1B, another a C. And several others have a high end guy in RFA they may retain. 
• Where i noticed a lack of a full time position player, and no true options behind, I left the slot blank
• Where i noticed a lack of a full time position player, but with multiple rising young guys with lower AB projections, I made judgement calls to add two players together simulating a rotation of two OF for example (75% of A and 75% of B = 550ABs, pro-rate stats).
